Job Summary

In the role of Global Leader for the DataBee North American Enterprise Sales team, you will be a leader within Comcast Technology Solution’s enterprise cybersecurity business unit, which sells SaaS and subscription security solutions to the large enterprise and federal government. Currently, two solutions, BluVector and DataBee, both used internally by the Comcast CISO organization, are sold by the business unit. These solutions are advanced threat detection, advanced threat hunting and security operations center and compliance offerings that improve security and compliance in a cost-effective manger. DataBee is the BU’s growth engine and is an innovative security & compliance data fabric platform, a new market segment rapidly replacing SIEM and other legacy security & compliance toolsets.

Reporting to Vice President and General Manager of the CTS cybersecurity business unit, you will be a working manager, responsible for hunting to find the next major customers for DataBee and starting, leading and scaling a global team of sales professionals. In addition, you will have the opportunity to lead go-to-market strategy and sales planning for the entire business unit.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • You lead the design and construction of a sales team that goes from zero to one, launching the world’s first enterprise ready data fabric for security, risk and compliance.
  • You take ownership of driving new business both individually and through your team, with the goal of securing over up to $20M globally in 2025 sales and securing 20-25 accounts by end of FY25.
  • You coach and mentor a world-class team of exceptional sales professionals.
  • You will strategize Go-To-Market approaches and contribute heavily to discussions on pricing, pitching, marketing strategy and more.
  • You become a trusted advisor to prospect accounts and existing customers, showcasing expertise and empathy.
  • You link Comcast’s leading technology to solid business cases.
  • You collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Product Management and Product Marketing.
  • You generate opportunities, using creative ideas as well as new techniques, tools, joint field marketing initiatives, trade shows, and partners.
  • You win deals through world-class planning and preparation, as well as being consultative in your approach to solving real business problems.
  • You are expected to use past creative experience and sound business judgment to make decisions on the best way to drive growth in the security and compliance data fabric segment.
  • You are expected to be a self-starter with high levels of intrinsic motivation and a drive for excellence in customer service and value realization.
  • Note that the scope of the role will own part or all of the North American sales team, according to candidate’s experience and abilities.

  • Experience leading sales teams across a substantial region of the world.
  • Experience working with SaaS security enterprise technology.
  • Handling a similar sized account batch, understanding complex sales cycles.
  • Affinity for software, ideally with a knack for IT security.
  • Net new logo accomplishments and value selling experience.
  • Passionate focus on Pipeline Generation & Opportunity Progression; including thoughtful planning and preparation. 
  • Desire to be coached and a structured approach to work with a proven sales process.
  • Ability to use internal resources, partners, and team members to be successful.
  • An ‘in the field’ mentality leading you to meet customers & prospects face to face wherever possible.

Compensation

National Pay Range: $129,562.53 USD-$303,662.19 USD

Targeted Commission: $225,000.00

Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
