Job Description:
- To handle daily shipping and banking related matters, including arrangement of import/export shipments, inland transportation, banking documentation etc. for projects
- To provide advice/solution on safe, effective and economical way of transportation for sales and operations (PM)
- To Implement local sourcing plans to achieve the business targets. Support regional and global sourcing and supplier management initiatives as required.
- Analyze and evaluates bids in order to determine the optimal value
- Negotiate commercial terns with suppliers
- Oversee supplier performance and resolves performance issues
- Apply standards on health, safety, environment and business ethics within operational work, contract management and negotiations.
- Creates and updates reports, as required, following Hitachi Energy standards.
- Implement Hitachi Energy controls over the logistics/procurement process
