Position summary:

This position is responsible for achieving sales quotas for Mako product and to increase Stryker’s presence in the market through leveraging resources in the assigned territory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)

  • Implement Mako sales activities and support local marketing activities to achieve budgeted sales and profitability goal.

  • Support National Sales Manager to formulate the sales plan and acitivites in accordance with local strategy, and identify market-specific needs, trends and opportunities for business growh. 

  • Maintain a close network of cooperative relationship with MPS team, business partners (dealers), customers and key stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain key accounts to strengthen Mako’s presence in the market

  • Negotiates customer contracts in accordance with overall company sales strategy

  • Liaise with spot dealers to maximize success rate

  • Prepare regular sales performance analyses, forecasts, and identify critical issues

  • Prepare reports on market trends, consumer habits, competitor information on a monthly basis

Education & Experience:

  • Degree holder in medicine, medical, or sales and marketing related area

  • At least 6 years sales experience in medical devices or healthcare industry

  • Proven record in key account management and channel management

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Excellent problem solving & interpersonal skills

  • Results-oriented with good negotiation &communications skill

  • Strong business acumen

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain key business relationships internally and externally.

  • Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional and team-oriented environment
