Job Summary

We seek experienced high-performing Software Quality Engineers for positions involving quality assurance and test automation for a Private Cloud Platform solution aimed at enabling distributed Edge computing.
You will join a highly skilled team delivering a highly distributed private cloud platform supporting containerized applications in addition to supporting virtual machines and bare metal nodes.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Automate tests through use of test automation tools and through code development;
  
• Interact with Software Development team in order to complete ticket cycles;
  
• Analyze system and applications and propose test strategy;
  
• Participate in technical discussions with customer;
  
• Coordinate with development team to drive product quality;
  
• Report/Monitor/Verify issues in defect tracking tool (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc).

Essential Skills

• Experience with Python for testing;
  
• Experience with Kubernetes and containers;
  
• Knowledge of creating scripts using automated testing tools;
• Experience working on Linux platforms.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Experience developing test cases/plans and ability to analyze code to identify root cause of issues;
  
• Experience working with testing tools: Pytest Framework / Cypress;
  
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum / Kanban environment.
