Overview

You will be one of our key drivers behind our continued growth and success with the Workday Platform. With our commitment to innovation, it’s you who will seek out, develop, and implement Workday Extend Apps for improved user experience and productivity. You will be wholly committed to the discovery and development of Workday Extend apps to deliver an outstanding experience for our users.

Your team

You will work with the Workday Platform and Information Delivery Leader who is based in Cincinnati. Working in the IT team in P&G, you will collaborate with a successful team that is both business leaders and technical specialists in leading multi-billion-dollar projects across the region and globe. We do this through innovative and industry leading mobile, social, cloud, big-data analytics, loT capabilities or modern technologies and capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support and management of custom applications and integrations in the Workday Platform using Workday Extend
• Design, development, testing, and deployment of bug fixes / enhancements / new applications in Workday Extend
• Work multi-functionally with other subject areas and with other Workday engineers on the team
• Take direction from a technical lead and reporting back progress, improvements, and/or enhancements

Job Qualifications

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT / Computer Science or relevant fields.
• Experience in Workday Extend and/or Workday Integration
• Knowledge of core Workday technologies, including business objects, business processes, reporting, security, and integrations.
• Software development experience building user-facing pages or applications.
• Experienced with UI/Web development techniques like HTML, JavaScript, etc.
• Working experience with API-based technologies like REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into practical insights.
• Basic understanding of data modeling and analysis.
• Ability to provide clear, in-depth answers on the reasoning behind technical decisions.
• Passion for learning and problem-solving.
