The Role:

We are seeking a skilled massage therapist with outstanding communication and patient management skills. This is a unique opportunity for professional growth and to practice within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work alongside a complete spectrum of musculoskeletal and medical health professionals. Medcan offers a full suite of sports rehabilitation providers which includes: physicians, orthopedic surgeons, a physiatrist, physiotherapists, chiropodists, chiropractors and other massage therapists.

The Accountabilities:

• The provision of clinical massage therapy services
• Maintain complete and detailed clinical documentation and records
• Practice effective and timely inter-professional communication
• Ensure the highest quality of patient management and care

The successful applicant will be required to work and learn within a fast paced and client focused organization, maintain confidentiality in handling patient sensitive information, and exercise sound decision making abilities.

The Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Massage Therapist
• Must be a member in good standing of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
• Must have appropriate professional liability insurance
• Must possess above average competency in multiple massage techniques; including but not limited to, Swedish massage, facial therapy, and trigger point therapy

This is an Independent Contractor role scheduled during business hours Monday through Sunday.
