Sandvik Mining is looking for a Product and Application Trainer- Load & Haul

Key Responsibilities:

• Training and Development: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for operators on load and haul equipment operation, ensuring they are proficient in using the equipment safely and efficiently.
• Coaching: Provide hands-on coaching to operators, focusing on improving their equipment utilization and operational efficiency.
• Safety Practices: Promote and enforce safe operating practices among operators to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
• Training Modules: Assist in the creation, development, and continuous improvement of training modules for operators, ensuring the content is up-to-date and relevant.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate operator performance, providing feedback and additional training as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, operator progress, and any incidents or issues that arise during training.
• Collaboration: Work closely with site operations and other team members to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.
• Compliance: Ensure all training programs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in load and haul equipment operation and training.
• Education: Relevant certifications or qualifications in equipment operation and safety training.
• Skills: Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate operators.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of load and haul equipment, safety protocols, and best practices in equipment operation.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining training records and developing training materials.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with site operations and other team members.
