Position Overview:  The Functional Data Manager will be responsible for overseeing the data management processes, ensuring data integrity, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of data management principles, business processes, and the ability to lead a team of data professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of data analysts and data scientists.
• Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of data models, reports, and dashboards to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulations.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve business processes and performance.
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations, reports, and visualizations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data management and business intelligence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Manager, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex data analysis.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into data solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
