Cleveland Clinic’s Primary Care team is dedicated to treating patients as a whole person. This team provides comprehensive healthcare for patients and families and focuses on preventing diseases and promoting health and wellness. Services range from preventive care, such as screenings and immunizations, to sick visits and chronic disease management.
A caregiver in this position works 8:00AM – 5:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide professional nursing care to patients.
Administer medication.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation in medical records and files.
Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
Follow Code Blue protocol.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Knowledge of infection control practices.
Experience with technology.
Computer literacy.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
One year of clinical experience.
