Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 4 (Weekend 1st Shift) based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand tools.
  • Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
  • May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
  • May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
  • Notify team leader or supervisor of any problems that may be causing a delay in production schedule or possible quality defects.
  • May require working with adhesives, chemical cleaners, coating materials and other commonly used chemicals used in manufacturing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of related experience.
  • Must have intermediate computer skills.
  • Soldering experience.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must have good attention to details.
  • Must be available for Weekend 1st shift (Friday Saturday, and Sunday)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing setting.
  • Prior experience working with electronics.
  • Current Solder J-STD or IPC solder certificate.

Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $90,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
