What you will do
We are looking for a Lead Financial Analyst to work in our Plant in Wichita, KS.
How you will do it
Enhance operational analysis and deliver comprehensive reports to bolster strategic planning, thereby enabling the organization to fulfill its goals.
Forge synergies with the accounting and finance departments, as well as plant operations, to ensure that financial outcomes are a true reflection of operational efficiency.
Proactively identify potential areas for improvement or risk within the manufacturing environment, and engage collaboratively with stakeholders to seize opportunities or mitigate risks.
Craft and analyze key performance indicators to pinpoint primary drivers of success, inform strategic decisions, and unearth potential business prospects.
Participate in the annual budgeting and planning processes, as well as monthly forecasting and planning activities. Provide regular variance analysis to explain deviations from budgeted expectations.
Foster a strong partnership with factory leadership by providing insights into cost drivers and assisting them in addressing these factors effectively.
Oversee business and fiscal procedures to guarantee the integrity and precision of the plant’s financial data.
Articulate insights effectively, crafting narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, including executive leadership, by employing logical structure and pertinent details.
Responsible for being the finance steward in support of the annual physical inventory, cycle count
What we look for
Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, or business-related field.
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or plant cost analysis.
Experience applying key accounting concepts and performing financial statement analysis.
Advanced Excel skills (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation).
Preferred
Experience working in a plant/factory.
Experience with SAP or other ERP system
Experience using HFM (Hyperion) or OneStream financial reporting tools
Experience with data analysis/visualization tools such as Power BI
Experience as a member of a leadership or steering team of an organization, business, or transformation effort.
