Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing a team of sales personnel handling new group health care and ancillary sales through brokers, implementing new sales goals, and ensuring the achievement of new sales goals. Ensure working relationships with brokers, education of brokers, and build relationships and work across the company to achieve/exceed goals. Ability and willingness to travel.

Job Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years managed care sales, account management or servicing experience OR 11 years managed care sales, account management, or servicing experience.
* Current, valid State Insurance License or obtain completely processed license within 90 days.
* 2 years leadership/supervisory/management experience.
* Thorough knowledge of managed care products, processes, and trends.
* Leadership and mentoring skills.
* Negotiation, presentation, sales, and financial skills.
* Analytical and system skills to develop and analyze reports and prepare reports/presentations for leadership.
* Verbal and written communications skills to include people management, negotiation, presentations, building relationships internally and externally and business writing.
* Skills to handle multiple priorities.
* Experience addressing customer needs.
* Experience building strong broker relations.
* Knowledge of industry and business intelligence.
* Ability and willingness to travel.

Preferred Job Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
* Experience with sales systems (such as Salesforce.com).

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range

$98,300.00 - $147,300.00
