THE ROLE:

The Sales Director(South Region) leads entire sales team comprised of Inside and Outside Sales Representatives, Sales Managers, and Sales Process. Responsible for reaching an overall revenue and booking targets for the division. Develops business processes and translates sales strategies to actionable tactics to guide and coach the sales team to reach their individual goals. Develops and executes the commercial strategy for the division.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads, coaches, mentors, and develops team of Sales Professionals
  •  Delivers on revenue/customer growth targets
  • Aligns objectives of team with Organizational Goals and Objectives; objectives for assigned unit/area defined by upper management
  •  Exemplifies Evoqua's Growth Enabling Behaviors and leverages those to foster a high performing team
  •  Manages other managers to deliver the same results
  •  Works with upper and Executive Management to set Goals/Objectives/Targets for each segment and key business accounts; works with their direct reports to align Goals/Objectives/Targets for sales organization
  •  Owns a revenue number up to 150M
  • Manages and leads full Sales Organization for their assigned division/business unit; guides and directs sales

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of sales experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
  • Strong knowledge of Sales Process
  • Ability/latitude to make decisions to achieve defined goals
  •  Must have an acceptable driving record to be insurable to drive for company business
  •  Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • 50% travel required

EDUCATION:

  • BS/BA degree required, Masters degree preferred   ​

Starting salary is base plus a Sales Incentive Plan and is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement. 

Salary range:

$118,500.00 - $213,500.00
