Garda Capital Partners (Garda) is a multi-billion dollar alternative investment firm with over 20 years of experience deploying relative value strategies across fixed income markets for institutional investors. Garda has offices in Wayzata, New York City, West Palm Beach, Geneva, Zug, Copenhagen, Singapore, and Scottsdale.

Garda is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer based in our Wayzata office to serve as a key technical resource for our IT operations. This position reports to the Global Head of Infrastructure.

Position Responsibilities

  • Drive global infrastructure support and strategic projects, taking ownership of the rollout of new systems and platforms, as well as documentation
  • Hands on support of End Users and devices
  • Lead cloud infrastructure deployments with a focus on security and data
  • Independently lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex systems and network issues.
  • Build partnerships and collaborate with key stakeholders in Wayzata and other key Garda offices.
  • Manage key vendor relationships
  • Take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
  • Adapt approach and demeanor in real-time to match shifting demands and situations
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and stay calm under pressure

Qualifications & Desired Skills

  • 5+ years in a hands-on technical support role
  • Proven knowledge of system architectures including network topologies, Windows Infrastructure and Domain Administration, Linux administration, web/internet architectures, and security.
  • Prior experience in highly available multi-geography infrastructure
  • Broad knowledge of cloud operations, CI/CD, networking, and storage
  • Proven knowledge of M365 Administration
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well alone and in a team setting

This role is also eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, healthcare plan, 401(k) matching program, etc. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education.

Base Salary for this role is expected to be between:
$110,000$145,000 USD
