Position Overview:

The main focus of an Application Developer is to support Red Apps - maintenance, services, troubleshooting, development, project management, 
compliance and mandatory changes.  Always focusing on customer, business and market requirements. 

The expectation for an Application Developer will be ensuring effective, timely and high quality maintenance and development of Sabre Red Apps on Global level for Amex GBT.
We are starting to move from Sabre's Eclipse scripts to Sabre Red Apps.  We will be using TypeScript for this development.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day. 

Application Developer Role responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

• Re-create new Red Apps to replace Eclipse Sabre Scripts.
• Respond to all script (Jira) ticket requests as assigned.
• Update and maintain the team's company SharePoint with the latest script versions.
• Troubleshooting – Identify root cause and develop solutions within a timely manner.
• Services – provide standard services to our internal customers. 
• Work as part of a team to ensure service delivery.
• Analytical skills, attention to detail.
• Strong skills in tracking and managing own work.
• Project management disciplines/consulting.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years TypeScript experience required
• Team oriented, self-directed, creative and able to work in a fast-paced collaborative work environment.
• Be comfortable with working in a metrics and SLA driven environment.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel / Power Point and Word. 
• Effective oral and written communication skills. Capable with presenting ideas and laying out objectives with concrete goal setting with follow-through.
• Not required, but a plus, experience developing software for Travel Management Company.
