What You Will Do:

  • Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders and issue POs for third‑party supplied or stocked materials.
  • Manage the 3rd‑party process to ensure timely and cost‑effective product delivery.
  • Record vendor confirmations and follow up on goods receipts in SAP to maintain accurate inventory and support invoicing.
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm on‑time delivery and meet production and delivery requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with third‑party tollers and warehouses, ensuring demand forecasts and production plans are communicated.
  • Organize regular planning meetings with tollers and customer service to align weekly and monthly production schedules.
  • Monitor production constraints and collaborate to resolve service‑level risks.
  • Arrange freight using logistics contracts, create shipping documentation, and ensure vendors have correct paperwork for customer and customs requirements.
  • Prepare customer paperwork and coordinate deliveries to destination points.
  • Schedule tanks, IBCs, and carriers in line with supplier and production plans.
  • Monitor site inventory, conduct cycle counts, and maintain stock accuracy in line with corporate policies.
  • Manage excess and obsolete inventory to minimize disposal costs and maintain stock levels per planning guidance.
  • Maintain and track tanks/containers through internal databases.
  • Run monthly housekeeping reports and maintain all trackers, records, and process documentation.
  • Provide timely communication regarding supply, logistics, and open order status, including exceptions and re‑planning needs.
  • Update customer service on order progress and changes to shipping schedules.
  • Action finance requests (e.g., OnBase) and validate supplier invoice queries.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with company QHSE policies.
  • Ensure third‑party tollers and warehouses adhere to corporate Goal Zero policies.
  • Participate in the on‑call rota.
  • Support special projects as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
  • Provide KPI reporting on plant or supplier performance as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Supply Chain experience or related background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication, time‑management, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work cross‑functionally.
     

Physical Demands:

Attending 3rd party sites for cycle counts and audits

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ERP (SAP) experience.
  • Prior supply chain purchasing experience
