Part of a collaborative and high performing team, the Analyst Pattern Planning & Allocations you would support the Flight Crew Planning team to add value and make an impact on the business. This role would see you responsible for the construction of crew patterns and roster solutions that achieve the highest operational stability and lowest crew unit cost that adheres to the Fatigue Risk Management Program (FRMP). Critical to your success will also be your ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide mentoring to the Allocations Analysts.

This role requires a proactive and driven individual who thrives under ever changing priorities and deadlines. This role will be pivotal to identifying process improvements and opportunities. The individual with the support of the wider team will make recommendations on items for consideration in EBA negotiations and should feel comfortable presenting to senior leaders and the Union.

You’ll have –

  • Knowledge of Crew Planning processes with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in crew planning and/or operations areas

  • Broad understanding Australian Industrial framework, Company Policy and CASA regulations and confidently interpret the EBA

  • Proven ability to work in a team collaboratively but also independently and be proactive, driven and thrive under pressure

  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in relation to operational needs and challenge existing work practices

  • Proven problem solving, negotiating, influencing, lateral thinking and decision making skills

  • Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels

  • Strong organisational and time management skillsets

  • Ownership of personal accountability for decisions and actions

  • Strong analytical capabilities with an advanced Microsoft Excel skillset

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Mathematics, Finance, Logistics, or equivalent relevant experience (desirable but not essential)

  • Experience in Jeppesen Systems and ARMS (desirable but not essential)
