The Supply Chain PMO analyst is a member of the recently created Clean Energy Green to Grow Support Team (G2G) Organization, and it’s responsible for supporting the stable operation of the supply chain activities and procure-to-pay processes. The Supply Chain PMO coordinates both external and internal stakeholders in the overall business aligned with the procure-to-pay process to ensure a proper and streamlined experience for users. Management activities include a solid “control tower” perspective of the activities and the responsibility to provide end-to-end visibility at every process stage and across multiple units/suppliers/users, together with the data needed for critical decisions.

Under a new SAP instance that includes satellite subsystems, the Supply Chain PMO will stand as a unique and centralized contact for SAP Business Users and support groups within AES subsidiaries (i.e., ASA in Argentina), solving regular and complex needs and issuing reports to external and internal parties.

This Analyst needs to ensure the achievement of committed objectives, plan and conduct internal negotiations to ensure proper business procedures are in place, anticipate future risks, and assess permanent mitigation of issues.

This Analyst will be aligned with the Global Supply Chain Organization and internal customers across Clean Energy to facilitate the P2P process. Part of the responsibilities of this position is to propose ways to reduce the transactional requirements and develop a Supply Chain Category under the scope of Renewables Core Services for the AES CE organization.

Knowledge of SAP S4, the Material Management (MM) module, and the procure-to-pay process is highly desirable for this position. Must clearly understand processes and areas impacting procure to pay and demonstrate training and/or customer support capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a constant quest for innovative improvement, rigor, and a faultless sense of organization.
  • Maintain alignment review checks with Supply Chain goals and objectives
  • Maintain excellent communications and problem-solving approach with Accounts Payable, Finance, Development, Construction FP&A, and ASA teams.
  • Keep prioritizing issue resolution and following up with internal customers if needed.
  • Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement in close alignment with Supply Chain.
  • Provides training and support to internal customers to ensure the correct adoption of SAP.
  • Spend Analyst responsible for analyzing spending patterns in one or more categories managed by the Analyst.
  • Convert Purchase Requisition into Purchase Order.
  • Ensure timely service delivery and payment execution by following up on the Purchase Order and adhering to the agreed terms and conditions.
  • Review and administer short and long-term contracts.
  • Commercial contract issues, negotiations, and/or administration of licensing agreements including renewal, new business, invoicing.
  • Administer contracts in accordance with company and customer policies and procedures, provide interpretation and analysis of contract documents and review and evaluate customer requests for changes in or revisions of contracts that involve technical specifications, cost, or schedule impact on the company

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SAP (MUST)
  • Solid character and self-confidence
  • At least 3 - 5 years experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing Procurement, A/P, and project execution office matters
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of knowledge and expertise.
  • Individuals must demonstrate capabilities to adapt to a multicultural environment with a highly matrixed organization.
  • Good problem-solving, analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to anticipate customer needs.
  • Expert knowledge of Payment Processing tools
  • Ability to work with minimum direct on-site supervision.
  • Technical knowledge and skill in utility-scale solar construction will be highly considered

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $71,000 and $85,850/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
