The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technological solutions. You will analyze user requirements, operational concepts, and system architectures to develop comprehensive system requirements specifications. You will lead design and development activities, guide users in formulating requirements, and provide alternative approaches and feasibility studies. Your technical leadership will ensure the seamless integration of requirements, design, and technology into ongoing operations. You will be responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables within the Systems Engineering domain, interacting directly with government entities and senior executives. Responsibilities

  • Requirements Analysis: Examine user requirements, operational documents, and system architectures to create system requirements specifications.

  • Design Leadership: Lead the design and development of system solutions that meet specified requirements.

  • User Guidance: Assist users in defining requirements, suggesting alternative approaches, and conducting feasibility studies.

  • Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical and system architecture documentation.

  • Planning and Integration: Guide system development and implementation through the creation of system engineering management plans and integration and test plans.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Engage with government officials and program personnel to address technical considerations and resolve issues.

  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate program risks, determining probability and consequences in alignment with the risk management plan.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

  • 20+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

    • Alternatively, 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

  • Proven experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Python

    • Java

    • JavaScript

    • React

    • Angular

    • Django

    • Experience with Azure/AWS

Desired:

  • Advanced certifications in Systems Engineering or related fields.

  • Experience with agile methodologies.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$131,800 - $290,000
