Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Analytics Director, the ideal candidate will have a  comprehensive understanding of data analytics flow and the ability to generate meaningful insights from data.

The candidate should also be a pro-active communicator, able to work closely with Client, internal teams and other MSU team members

Responsibilities

  • Assist on different aspects of analytics requests such as target setting, performance & insight analysis
  • Data reporting and visualization. Maintain dashboard reporting (PowerBI, Datorama, etc) frequent update.
  • Ensuring timely updates of all key data feeds to relevant teams
  • Assist the broader MSU team with data collection, entry and manipulation to achieve timely delivery of results for specific analytics projects

There are two primary KPIs for this role:

  • Ensuring that the MSU team has easy access to all relevant data
  • Help to create and promote an analytics culture within the team

Educational Background

  • Educated to degree level in a numerical or marketing discipline.
  • Between 2 and 4 years work experience in a business consultancy, market research or data analysis role.
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Familiar with one or more of R, Python. VBA is also favourable.
  • An in-depth understanding and prior application of econometrics would be particularly valuable.
