More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a DevOps Engineer Microservices and Java Applications in Panama.

• As a DevOps engineer you will be providing service for the Microservices platform and Java applications, involving ticket resolution and code fixes. In addition, you will be working on adaptive changes and will oversee the CI/CD pipeline. You’ll act as a counterpart for the business and work together with a very experienced team.

• You’ll be troubleshooting incidents on the Microservices platform and Java applications and provide fixes for issues.

• You’ll building and maintaining CI/CD pipeline to support rapid deployments.

• You’ll be monitoring the performance, uptime and system health of the platforms and work on auto-healing solutions.

• You’ll be working together with experienced developers to integrate code into the platform for corrective and adaptive changes.

More about you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, providing foundational knowledge in software development, systems integration, and digital technologies.

• You’ve minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

• You’ve experience in AWS cloud and Spring boot (or Quarkus) reactive programming in Java.

• You’ve knowledge about AWS AppSync and Elasticsearch.

• You’re fluent in English and you have excellent communication skills.

*On-site position to be based in Panama City, Panama - open to consider candidates from all Latin America region willing to relocate.
