Your goal is to have overall responsibility for meeting the production schedule, material requirements planning, purchase order management, inventory management and work order management to ensure customers’ requests are actioned within the time schedule requested in accordance with the company’s budget, policies and procedures

You will be an excellent communicator, as the role will often require you to work with many departments and external entities to accomplish goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Open/Maintain/Release Process orders. Batch Determine Process Order Components.
  • Generate Lot Assignment sheets Generating purchase requisitions as necessary and ensuring the material is released within the agreed timescale.
  • Changing/updating existing BOM to ensure accurate and timely customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory transactions, Quantities and due dates.
  • Prepare documentation for the disposal of all obsolete or rejected materials in accordance with the company policies and procedures.

Qualifications/experience:

  • Appropriate qualification in either Purchasing/Productions Planning e.g. Diploma in Purchasing or relevant APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) examinations.

 Or

  • General Degree with relevant Manufacturing experience.

With

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in production planning in a manufacturing company. Preferably previous experience with planning short shelf-life products.
  • Overall experience required is 3 years.

This role reports to our Supply Chain Planning Manager.

You will join Supply Chain team of 13 that includes Planning Team Leader, Planner(s) and Supply Chain Compliance Specialist.

The Leadership style in our Supply Chain Team focuses on collaboration, morale, and motivation.
