The Sr. Compliance Analyst (Compliance Manager, internally) supports the Chief Compliance Officer in maintaining and overseeing the Arch MI Compliance Program. This person will work on the development and implementation of policies and procedures, performs compliance testing, assists/develops monitoring programs, and provides compliance support to the MI division.

This person will also support the management of critical compliance processes, such as program documentation, development and implementation of policies and procedures, development and delivery of training, data management, risk assessments, and employee and customer communications. This position will require interaction with all levels within the organization as well and external stakeholders.

We would love to talk with candidates who have either strong mortgage servicing experience or a strong compliance background in a heavily regulated industry. We would also be interested in speaking with candidates who have previously worked as a senior underwriting in mortgage. This role will sit in the Greensboro, NC office with two days in the office, and three days remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and administer processes designed to maintain compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations on various compliance matters.
  • Conduct risk-based compliance testing and monitoring of multiple areas of the company’s business.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to help address key compliance risk areas; implement/oversee monitoring programs to detect potential instances of non-compliance.
  • Assist with compliance communications to educate employees about key compliance principles and initiatives.
  • Provide timely support to key business operations on compliance risk matters
  • Perform special projects, as needed, to support Compliance initiatives.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in mortgage, insurance, financial institution, or other highly regulated industry with a focus on compliance or 5 years of related experience in mortgage loan underwriting, quality control, internal audit or similar disciplines. 

  • Compliance certification preferred.
