Expression of Interest – SHO / Registrars

We are currently looking to expand our Medical Team in our ICU and would like to hear from any interested SHO or Registrars who are looking to join our dedicated team.


ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are currently seeking a suitably experienced and qualified SHO / Registrars who have the energy and drive to join our ICU Team either on a Full Time, Part Time or a Casual Basis. Please indicate your preference in your application.

Our state of the art 17-bed Intensive Care Unit provides care for approximately 1450 patients per year. Whilst we do have a strong cardiovascular surgical focus, we also provide high quality care for a variety of other surgical and medical patients. Our team offers:

ABOUT YOU:

  • Full General registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner

  • Minimum of 3 years post graduate practitioner experience

  • Ability to interact in a positive and cooperative manner within a multidisciplinary environment.

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills

  • Commitment to professional development of self and others

  • Competency is critical thinking and problem solving, with the ability to work in a flexible and collaborative style

  • Working knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation and common law practices

  • Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with other departments within the facility including building collaborative relationship with Visiting Medical Officers
