JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE :
- Assuring consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in assigned territory by identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business.
- Achieve territory total product sales targets and associated individual product targets. Carry out sales calls, targeting high sales areas for maximum efficiency and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients. Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory.
- Complete and submit timely administration tasks such as customer record keeping, rolling forecasts, monthly highlights, expenses, etc. in line with divisional standards. Manage samples, demo devices, promotional and phone expense budgets as per your plan spreadsheet to ensure expenses budget is contained.
- Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are being met by the Company's products where possible. Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with Company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
- Compliance with Corporate policies and procedures
- Compliance in performing the training as required by the training products.
- Ensure compliance in reporting product experiences according to AV requirement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Train Products and Give right suggestion to customers when they meet some trouble situation.
- Participation at local congresses
- Inventory management and reporting
- Structural analysis of account potential
- Account planning to reach the company objectives.
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED :
- Relevant Product Knowledge
- Capable computer skills for Abbott field reporting data system and necessary correspondence and spreadsheets.
- Ability to put together a territory business plan and Numerical ability
- Experience in Quality Management System, compliance knowledge of regulations applicable to the business
- Good understanding commercial operations and relationship to regulatory/compliance
- Capable of taking Competent Authority relationships to the next level
- High level of responsiveness to need of commercial organization
- Good judgement, ability to prioritize and resource regulatory activity according to business needs
- Ability to work in international environment and willingness to travel
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, negotiation & communication skills
- Comfortable in conversational and written in English language
- Presentation skills.
KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION REQUIRED :
- Understanding of products and their applications
- Good knowledge of vascular anatomy, medical nomenclature
- Capable to make realistic plans and to execute them; time management
- Basic economic understanding
- Listening Skills
- Good negotiator, confident and capable to close deals
- Creative, independent, taking initiatives with more than average commitment
- Flexible and capable to adapt to different circumstances and clients
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
- Life Science degree (Bio-medical, Bio-engineering, Health Sciences or related science background), with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience gained in multinational companies , especially in Medical devices will be an advantage.
