Position Overview

This Grain Operations Coordinator role supports the coordination of daily facility operations and order flow within a fast‑paced agricultural environment, while also performing hands‑on operational tasks across the site. Responsibilities include loading rail cars, managing grain flow and bin operations, performing grain grading, and supporting logistics through scheduling trucks and coordinating rail shipments. The role works closely with internal teams, growers, and customers to ensure clear communication and smooth execution of contracts and shipments. Employees are expected to be highly organized, manage multiple priorities, and assist across all areas of the facility as needed within a cross‑trained team environment. A strong safety mindset is essential, along with attention to detail and accountability in daily operations. This role is ideal for dependable individuals with strong communication skills who are comfortable taking ownership, building relationships, and growing into a key point of contact within a dynamic grain facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sizable tasks or processes within operations to ensure efficiencies

  • Perform grain operations tasks required at the facility that contribute to customer service, grain movement/storage and general facility upkeep.

  • Assist with the coordination of all grain movement task at the facility

  • Perform operational documentation functions

  • Technically proficient specific areas such as blending, regulatory, supply chain, inventory, etc.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience required

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

  • Must be able to stand/sit for an extended period of time

  • Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 60 pounds

  • Must be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 100 feet

  • Works indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures

  • Working conditions could include: dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfaces
