Senior Associate, Client Relationship Management - UK Wealth Management Team

 

The Global Client Group leads Dimensional’s efforts to acquire long-term client relationships and increase the firm’s reach in the marketplace. Team members work closely with both institutions and financial advisors to offer focused, specialized support and ensure the delivery of a consistently impeccable client experience. Everyone is empowered to offer up and execute on innovative ways to produce results. 

 

The UK Wealth Management team is a fast growing, high priority channel for Dimensional, seeking to grow assets with Wealth Managers, Discretionary Fund Managers (DFM’s) and Family Offices throughout the UK. By building strong relationships with these organisations, Dimensional is better equipped to understand their investment needs and identify opportunities. The team utilise a detailed knowledge of the broader investment industry and Dimensional’s own investment approach, to connect with prospects and clients across the region.  

 

This role reports to the Head of the Client Relationship Group, EMEA but is firmly embedded in the UK Wealth Team and will take leadership and guidance from those within the team.

The Opportunity  

As a Senior Associate within EMEA’s Global Client Group, you would be responsible for assisting Regional Directors in carrying out business development, relationship management and client retention activities 

The Senior Associate plays an integral role in delivering high quality relationship management, efficient query resolution and highly detailed technical investment support. It will be through the application of these deliverables that you will deliver an outstanding Dimensional experience for our clients.  

 

Responsibilities 

  • Support Regional Directors with all aspects of relationship management and business development for both new and existing clients.  
  • Actively empowered to lead on an agreed group of organisations and implement a proactive outreach strategy. 
  • Attend and lead appropriate meetings with clients and prospects. 
  • Develop and maintain client facing presentations and many other aspects of business procurement such as, but not limited to: RFP’s, DDQ’s and other questionnaires.  
  • Work closely with others across Dimensional, both locally and globally, to manage projects and initiatives for the Global Client Group. You will interact with Marketing, Investment and Portfolio Analytics teams regularly.  
  • Strong articulation of Dimensional’s investment approach and how this benefits clients. 
  • Identify and develop processes or methodologies that improve service to clients. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our investment strategies.  
  • Review work, actively mentor, develop, guide and share feedback with new and current team members. 
  • Foster and leverage relationships with new colleagues and our other DFA offices.   

 

Desirable experience and traits: 

  • Significant business development and client servicing experience within the UK Wealth or Institutional market. 
  • Demonstrate a strong record in delivering exemplary client service.  
  • Proven analytical and numeracy skills with a high attention to detail.  
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.  
  • Resourceful and analytical approach.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with client presentation capability.  
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines.  
  • Confident self-starter capable of managing multiple projects.  
  • Project management skills highly regarded.  
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Economics or related field - preferred. 
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.  
  • Must hold, or pass within 6 months of joining, the CFA IMC certificate.
