Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Senior Data Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the IT Director Data Engineering and Analytics, this position is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines into our enterprise cloud data warehouse that enable analytics, reporting, and advanced data solutions across the organization.Position Overview
Your responsibilities may include:
Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and workflow orchestration solutions to automate data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across enterprise platforms
Build and support scalable data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and streaming of near‑real‑time data systems
Implement data quality validation, monitoring, and error‑handling frameworks to ensure reliable and trusted data delivery
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into effective data solutions
Optimize data processing performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and efficient resource utilization
Establish and enforce data security, access controls, backup, and recovery practices to protect sensitive data and ensure business continuity
Monitor system health, troubleshoot pipeline and platform issues, and implement automated recovery and alerting mechanisms
Partner with analytics teams and data scientists to create curated datasets and engineer features for analytical and machine learning models
Contribute to enterprise data governance initiatives, including metadata management, data cataloging, and lineage
Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across data engineering processes
Stay current with emerging data engineering technologies, tools, and best practices
Participate in Agile planning, execution, and delivery activities

Basic Requirements:
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, related field, or foreign equivalent
7 or more years of experience designing, building, and scaling data pipelines for structured and unstructured data in enterprise environments
3 or more years of experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), including Cloud Data Integration, ingestion pipelines, and monitoring
5 or more experience with modern cloud‑based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, or equivalent)
Advanced level of knowledge with relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar)
Advanced level of proficiency in programming skills, particularly in Python
Intermediate level of knowledge in SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and data warehousing concepts
Preferred Requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field
3 or more years of experience with data visualization or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI or similar), with strong Excel skills
3 or more years of experience with cloud DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models
Expert level of knowledge of data management principles, including data lifecycle, metadata, and governance
Intermediate level of knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks (e.g., Java, Spark, R)
Intermediate level of knowledge with data orchestration, streaming, and automation tools (e.g., Airflow, Kafka, or similar)
Exposure to data science and advanced analytics concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and comfort operating in complex enterprise environments
