The Role:
Medcan is recruiting for a full-time Front Desk Associate / Clinic Flow Coordinator at our Collingwood location! The position requires high energy and enthusiasm, an appreciation for detail, an outstanding level of client service, and exceptional organizational skills. The role is responsible for monitoring and facilitating the flow of patients through our Year-Round Care clinic as well as coordinating with other clinic staff to ensure exceptional delivery of service.
The Accountabilities:
Welcoming and greeting clients, guiding clients throughout their visit, and checking clients in and out of their appointments.
Processing payments for appointments and products.
Coordinate with staff to ensure the client’s visit is productive and effective with exceptional service delivery.
Ensure clients receive maximum value time during their visit.
Providing exemplary and engaging customer service.
Interact with Clients by using discretion, professionalism, and accuracy.
Escorting patients to and from treatment rooms and waiting areas.
Making reminder appointment calls to clients.
Providing Coffee and Beverages to Clients in the lounge.
Constantly maintaining the lounge and attending to clients.
Managing wait times with clients and updating them with accurate information regarding their appointments.
Open and close procedures including next-day preparation.
Responding to all client issues and inquiries.
Foster client/clinic loyalty by creating memorable experiences.
Problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Ensure compliance with all service metrics.
Respond to client issues and inquiries.
Administrative and Physician support as required
The Requirements:
Full Availability for weekday, Saturday and Sunday shifts.
Prior experience in a similar role.
Four Star Hotel or luxury spa experience is an asset.
2 years of healthcare experience is an asset.
Education in health or a related discipline is an asset.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Intermediate level skills in MS Office.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to foster relationships with other teams and practitioners.
Ability to travel to Toronto for the first 2-week training program and occasional training thereafter.
This is a full-time position working 5 days a week, between Monday to Sunday. The role sits primarily at our Collingwood clinic but requires flexibility to commute to our Toronto clinic at 150 York St. as needed. Training requirements will be discussed in further detail if you are selected for an interview.
Location – Collingwood: 40 Huron Street, Unit #202.
