Job Description

The HSS Global IT department is looking for a passionate, inquisitive, detail oriented and highly customer focused Business Analyst -Salesforce to join our Salesforce Global COE (Center of Excellence). The COE supports the growing needs of our user community.


The Business Analyst will participate in the whiteboard vision and execution of the end-to-end technology architecture, assist in gathering business and technical requirements from business objectives and manage and maintain the IKO Salesforce.com platform in accordance with the prioritized IKO IT roadmap.
This role will support maintenance and administration duties within the IKO Salesforce.com platform using the full feature set available on the platform.
The role will be a key advocate within IKO driving the value Salesforce delivers to the organization. This role is based fully on-site at our Mississauga, ON office location.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;

  • Supporting the business with our implementations, adoption, and ongoing utilization of Salesforce.
  • Serve as front line point of contact, respond to issues, change requests, and other administrative needs of IKO Salesforce.com end users including preparation of communications required to end users
  • A focus on Sales /Field enablement to facilitate our sales users driving value with the Salesforce platform
  • Take on an evangelist role for Salesforce, increasing awareness of new features; Assist with development of training curriculum
  • Participate and lead in business process review workshops and perform detailed analysis of business requirements to ensure project have proper impact and adoption
  • Assist in creating key metrics and dashboards and ensure key stakeholders understand the information and derive value
  • Take a primary role in devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments, and coordinating actual software testing
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is complete for supporting systems and projects

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;

  • Minimum 5 years BA experience participating in JAD sessions, developing, and documenting Business Requirements and Functional Specification documents
  • 1-2 years of hands-on BA experience on the Salesforce.com Platform, including Sales, Service Cloud and Partner Communities
  • Experienced with global Saleforce.com environments and deployments across multiple geographical regions, such as North America and Europe is a key requirement.
  • Experience working on facilitating the evolution of the Salesforce platform driving benefit and adoption with new business process and features is a key requirement.
  • Experienced working within an IT Governance model (e.g., Cobit, ITIL, ISO 27001) within Agile environment
  • Excellent Knowledge of documentation tooling such as Confluence Wiki or similar tools.
  • Excellent Knowledge of JIRA or similar bug tracking tools.
  • Strong data background with experience with system integration, data modeling, dashboard, and report development
  • Demonstrable experience working closely with Sales and Marketing groups
  • Experience working within the manufacturing and/or building industries is desired

  • Travel estimated at 15%, within North America and Europe
