Job Description:

We are looking for a: Contracts Officer who is available for an indicative period of two years in the UK, before returning to one of Leonardo Italia's sites.

Responsibilities:

The role holder is responsible for implementing the required processes and procedures for either the acquisition or management phases of the lifecycle.

Accountabilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Management and administration of bids and contracts with a wide customer base. Lead in the provision of Commercial elements for the Life Cycle Management and for Bid Approval process;
  • Support line managers, by taking responsibility for the preparation of quotations and detailed Agreements including but not limited to Purchase Orders, Enabling Agreements, Technical Assistance Agreements, Service Level Agreements.

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a commercial, contracts role;
  • Contract analysis/management skills such as ability to identify potential risks in contract terms;
  • Support to contract acquisition/bid processes;
  • Analytical and critical thinking;
  • Organisational and time-management skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in contract renewals and amendments;
  • Support to negotiation planning and strategies;
  • Customer and stakeholder relationship management skills;
  • Understanding of resource & budget management;
  • Governance experience.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
