Department Overview

In the Krakow PCR department (Professional and Commercial Radio) we are developing and delivering software used for business and mission critical communications & workflows in MOTOTRBO systems, Safety Reimagined solution and Application Developers Programme for 3rd party partners.
Our solutions are omnipresent in a plethora of verticals important in everyday lives such as healthcare, public safety, transportation, logistics, education, hospitality, energy, manufacturing, retail and many others.
Our team is following industry-standard and modern software development practices like continuous integration/continuous deployment, DevOps, component- and system-level automated testing. We use agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to organize our work ranging from cross-functional teams to portfolio management. As owners, we are responsible for end-to-end software development life-cycle, including: specification and design, implementation, testing, delivery and maintenance.


Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Java Software Developer with a solid foundation in computer science and software engineering, focused on building and refining the critical systems that keep our customers connected and operational. You’ll be tackling complex, real-world problems and seeing your solutions directly benefit our users. You won’t just be writing code—you'll have full ownership of the development pipeline. You’ll collaborate on system design, write high-quality and testable code, and be responsible for deployment and monitoring. If you're passionate about end-to-end product development and enjoy a variety of technical challenges, this is the role for you.


Basic Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, or a related technical field.

  • Hands-on experience with the Java ecosystem.

  • Hands-on experience with Spring, PostgreSQL.

  • Familiarity with Linux from a user perspective.

  • Experience with common developer tools like Kafka, Docker

  • An understanding of the CI/CD pipeline and how it supports modern development.
