This position is contingent on a contract award.

This position requires a Top Secret SCI polygraph clearance.

Medical Assistant supports a Government Intelligence Customer. Personnel on this contract provide health, safety, and related services that directly support the intelligence mission and improve the well-being of the customer's workforce domestically who are operating in a fast moving and high stress environment. Medical Assistant assists the physicians in examination and treatment of patients, and performs clerical tasks related to administration of office.
  • Interviews patients and record their medical history.

  • Measures patients' vital signs, such as their blood pressure and weight.

  • Helps physicians with patient examinations.

  • Hands instruments and materials to the doctor as directed.

  • Gives patients injections or medications as directed by physicians and as permitted by state law.

  • Collects and prepare samples of blood and other specimens for laboratory tests.

  • Enters patient information, such as their vital signs and test results, into medical records.

  • Maintains inventory of medical and office supplies.

  • Prepares treatment rooms for patient exams.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Other Job Requirements

Responsibilities

2+ years of experience as a medical assistant.

Possession of a current Top Secret/SCI with a polygraph clearance is required.

Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with various clientele.

Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to work well under pressure.

CPR/BLS certification required.

Technology driven medical data entry system experience or related computer data entry.

A medical clearance that consists of passing an N95 respirator fit test, pass a Tuberculosis/TB test and receive a Hepatitis A/B vaccine series or pass a Hepatitis A/B Titer test. 

Exceptional customer service skills that will enhance the interaction with the providers, operational teams and clients.

The ability to demonstrate an understanding of applicable policies and procedures.

The ability to maintain conditions that ensure a healthy and safe working environment.

One of the following: Medical Assistant, RN, LVN, LPN Diploma or EMT Certification or experience as a Military Medic or Hospital Corpsman.

$51,445
