In this opportunity as Data Steward- Product Marketing Enrichment, you will be part of a global business to create and implement product data across a broad array of products for Thomson Reuters. As a product marketing enrichment team member, the Data Steward will be responsible for the creation of search optimized content and assets for the e-commerce platform, researching product lines and implementing product taxonomies, attribute schemas, improving internal and external search of product content, working data normalization and adhering to the product enrichment style guide.

About the Role 

In this opportunity as Data Steward- Product Marketing Enrichment, you will:

  • Create search engine optimized (SEO) copy for products.
  • Research, analyze and update product specification data.
  • Pinpoint terminology critical to product definition and retrieval of internal and external search.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects with a broad range of merchandisers, engineers, UX designers, and other groups. 
  • Create digital asset references and alt tags, implement taxonomy references.
  • Export and analyze content for inconsistency/errors, correct data and work with lead to import changes into PIM.
  • Create and update process documentation.
  • Work on projects while collaborating with management on key functional areas, Manage project workload.

 

About You:
You're a fit for the role of Data Steward- Product Marketing Enrichment if your background includes:

  • At least 4-7 years of proven ecommerce, data management or product content creation experience
  • Strong editorial skills attention to detail, Strong spelling, grammar, editing, proofing and communication skills are a must.
  • Solid understanding of accurate writing for utilization in development of search engine optimized copy for web-based environments.
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management.
  • Advanced skillset in Excel and other data applications involving techniques in handling large, complex data.
  • Knowledge of analyzing marketing assets to effectively merchandise products on an e-commerce platform.
  • The ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision. 
  • Must be willing to take risks and suggest new and innovative alternatives,
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
