Job Description:

The role:
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Care Centre (ACC) which treats haematological, oncological, gastroenterological, neurological and immunological patients just to name a few. Chemotherapy, immunotherapy and blood products are an integral part of the service we provide. Our Registered Nurses have the opportunity to participate in all learning and development activities and are exposed to the latest medical approaches, new technologies and integrate methods of patient care. This position is available on a full-time basis, although part-time will be considered.

Your skills and experience:

  • High levels of nursing assessment, managing acute settings
  • Effective communication skills with patients, families and allied health professional
  • Understanding cytotoxic regimens and their treatment plans,
  • Administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy
  • Confidence with CVAD management and cannulation
  • To be competent in MOSAIQ (desirable)


Remuneration:
Classification/Grade: $38.09 - $53.49 + salary packaging + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
