Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is on the lookout for a dynamic Contracts Procurement Agent – whether you're just starting out in your career, have some experience under your belt, or are a seasoned professional. In this role, you will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager for Contracts and Strategy.
Based out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba office, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to driving excellence in our Supply Chain Department. As a Contracts Procurement Agent, you will play a crucial role in managing contracts and procurement processes, ensuring the smooth flow of operations and fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:
Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
Creates risk mitigation plans and monitors performance to those plans.
Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
Collaborates cross-functionally with operations, finance, and engineering teams.
Demonstrates strong business acumen by assessing supplier’s business and operational health.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Winnipeg office.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience in Supplier Management or equivalent education
Able and willing to travel domestically and international as needed (up to 10-20% of the time)
Must be legally able to work in Canada
Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in supporting supplier contract negotiations
Experience working with SAP or other ERP system
Typical Education and Experience:
Entry-level (Level 1): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).
Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Professional (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
