GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:   

General facilities maintenance at our various facilities, ongoing office moves, conference room setup/tear down for meetings, archived records retention and outside errands. 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  •  Supply and Mail delivery to our various facilities.
  • Deliver paper and other supplies to the Data Center and printer/copier locations throughout each facility.
  • Set up events and meeting rooms, sometimes with little or no advance notice.
  • Move, install, maintain and inventory all office furniture.
  • Run company errands in company vehicles, sometimes with little or no advance notice.
  • General facilities maintenance and repair.
  • Perform on your own and/or assist outside vendors with furniture and office equipment delivery and installation.
  • Maintain and stock inventory of beverages, paper towels, coffee supplies, utensils, plates, bowls, cups and condiments at individual break stations at each facility.
  • Organization of warehouse storage and archived records.
  • Archived records retrieval and returns.
  • Meet deliveries at the warehouse, sometimes with little or no advance notice.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None required for this position.

 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:  

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one year of related experience and/or training.

Valid Drivers License

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:   

  •  Ability to work cooperatively, professionally and successfully with co-workers, internal customers, and other outside third parties in a corporate office environment.
  • Ability to successfully handle pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • The following on-the-job time is spent on physical activities:
  • Requires over 50 pounds of weight be lifted or force exerted 1/3 to 2/3 of the time.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Requires working near moving mechanical parts and in elevated places 1/3 to 2/3 of the time.
  • Typical noise level for the work environment of this job is Moderate (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic, vehicles, dock lift). 
  • Duties requiring these physical demands include driving company vehicles, pulling records from file cabinets, high shelving and boxes, and using hand carts and manual pallet jacks
  • Position requires meeting deadlines and juggling multiple priorities, sometimes with little or no advance notice or planning.
  • Ability to work with various levels of direction and adapt to changing priorities as needed in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with various staff members and departments.
  • Ability to maintain company attendance, punctuality and dependability standards as stated in the company handbook.
  • Ability to work overtime as required
