We’re looking for a Senior Design Systems Designer who expects more from their career. It’s a chance to extend and improve dunnhumby’s Tesco Retail Media team. It’s an opportunity to work with a market-leading business to explore new opportunities for us and influence global retailers.

Joining our team, you’ll work with world class and passionate people to… You will champion our design system, creating and simplifying a robust set of tools, components, and frameworks that empower designers and engineers to craft innovative, seamless experiences for both our colleagues and customers.

What you’ll be working on

- Build, maintain, and evolve flexible, reusable components for our platform design system that are user-friendly for designers in Figma and technically feasible for engineers.

- Collaborate with your team to design and maintain the design system, using variants, tokens, and scalable organizing principles.

- Implement and manage processes for scaling and updating the design system, including researching and testing its effectiveness.

- Create and maintain user documentation that outlines standards and best practices for the component library, serving as a guide for designers, product managers, researchers, and developers.

- Act as the design system advocate, supporting other teams in using the system effectively while championing accessibility and responsive design.
