Job Summary:

Charge Nurses oversee the delivery of quality nursing services by working with physicians and other care providers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients’ care and provide a positive, supportive environment. Participates in quality improvement initiatives, identifies and completes continuing education, and trains others. This role serves as a front-line representation of the organization’s quality objectives surrounding patient care, upholding confidentiality, safety, and professionalism standards.

Required Minimum Education:

ADN, BSN, BA/BS with MSN, OR Diploma in Nursing.

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):


All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

  • BLS - Instructor or Basic Life Support
  • Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact

Additional License(s) and Certification(s):

Required Minimum Skills: 1 year or more of experience in nursing. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).

Current Registered Nursing license (Georgia) or qualifying multi-state compact license.
