The Role
The Business Analyst within the Client Experience division supports and executes Entity Change events for advisors operating on the Fidelity RIA platform. This role primarily focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions involving existing advisors or RIAs in the onboarding process. The position also supports ongoing maintenance events, including Name and Ownership Changes.
Key responsibilities include consolidating business structures under the receiving RIA’s internal records and ensuring accurate updates to RIA names and related attributes across the platform. The Business Analyst conducts detailed analyses of each RIA’s business model, operational dependencies, and product configurations, translating requirements into precise, targeted tasks to implement necessary changes.
This role manages events of varying size, complexity, and scope, requiring a strong understanding of Fidelity’s products, services, and operational processes. The Business Analyst partners closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate activities, ensure alignment, and drive timely execution. Adherence to defined procedures is essential, and the individual is expected to develop subject matter expertise in applicable areas.
As a client-facing role, this position plays a critical role in delivering a seamless experience and has a significant impact on overall client satisfaction within the RIA space.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree or Commensurate Work Experience
Financial intermediary channel experience preferred (RIAs, Banks, and Broker/Dealers)
Client facing service experience required
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a willingness to make the extra effort to resolve issues

The Team
The Business Analyst team consists of Fidelity associates whose main responsibility is to consult regularly with Advisors to integrate their business relationship under one firm record. The team is part of a larger group, Client Conversion Services (CCS) which falls under the Client Experience division within the Fidelity Wealth division. Associates within Client Experience are responsible for most of the client’s interactions with Fidelity and is therefore primarily responsible for the client experience with the Fidelity brand.

The base salary range for this position is $66,000-125,000 USD per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
