As a summer associate, you will assist with establishing the business priorities, defining the market strategy, and ensuring execution for the audience covered by the delivery team that interfaces with the client segment teams in Institutional Retirement (IR) or Wealth Management (WM).

As a Marketing Summer Associate, you will perform one or more of the following tasks:

  • Establish the business priorities for the audience by working with client segment teams, cross-functional partners and marketing leadership.
  • Develop and implement the marketing strategy for the target audience or sub-audience to achieve the desired change in audience behavior or attitudes.
  • Partner with cross-functional marketing team to develop and deploy marketing programs aligned to the business objectives and strategies by leading an agile team and delivering via agile methodologies and practices.
  • Maintain a client-facing role along with marketing managers and senior managers (where applicable). Travel in the field (up to 30% of time) to deeply understand the audience and client.x
  • Lead the establishment and the delivery of the joint score card for the target audience and the delivery team’s mission.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, in junior standing, graduating in 2026
  • You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • You have in-depth knowledge of current marketing technology, tools and digital channels.
  • You are fluent in social media, search, content marketing and other marketing channels and can effectively apply to work assignments.
  • Demonstrates ability to influence groups and/or more senior associates.
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and analytical skills in areas of moderate complexity.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and develop/maintain working relationships inside and outside the organization to enable effective completion of business objectives.
  • Demonstrates ability to lead and manage projects within the team.

Base Rate: $30.50/hour

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
