Talent Sourcing Specialist

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Talent Sourcing Specialist
  • Location: Warrenville, IL
  • Full Time
  • Hours: Day shift between 8 am and 5 pm
  • Required Travel: Occasional travel to other sites within the system and job fairs

What you will do:

  • Identify qualified candidates using various sourcing strategies and tactics including, but not limited to, quick apply, university and community partnerships, recruitment branding and advertising campaigns and direct outreach. Identify qualified active and passive candidates leveraging various sourcing strategies and complex internet searches including, but not limited to, quick apply, university and community partnerships, applicant tracking systems, employee referrals, social media, job boards, user groups, professional associations, past applicants, previous event attendees, recruitment branding and advertising campaigns and direct outreach.
  • Build and nurture a pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs through establishing and maintaining relationships with candidates and ensuring accurate documentation on all candidates, searches and candidate conversions.
  • Build and nurture relationships and partnerships with talent acquisition team members system-wide to share qualified candidates for appropriate positions and to keep apprised of market conditions, obstacles in recruitment proactive search strategies and best practices.
  • Convert talent leads to applicants ensuring best in class candidate experience and ensure ATS reflects conversion. 
  • Reports weekly on candidate activity, sources and conversions
  • Represent NS EEH as the first point of contact for candidates through quick apply.  Engage with candidates through an intake conversation, determining best fit and guiding them through appropriate next steps.
  • Represent the organization at school and community career fairs, including planning of events, branding and goal-setting.
  • Increase public awareness of North Shore EEH by maintaining high profile with community business, education institutions, representation with professional associations and social activities on an ongoing basis.
  • Participate in community outreach in the way of community school districts and community partners by education and sharing presentations on career opportunities within healthcare and North Shore EEH. 
  • Ensures sourcing strategies align with NS EES DE&I initiatives and ensures candidate sourcing process meets OFCCP requirements.
  • Promote our employer brand online and offline and ensuring all posting and content adheres to employment brand standards while helping to promote NS EEH as an employer of choice.
  • Builds knowledge of competitor institutions and uses market data and internal metrics to inform and modify sourcing strategy. 
  • Supports development of creative content for recruitment marketing campaigns and social media content related to positions within scope.
  • Uses discretion and judgment to determine and put in place best practices for assigned positions or service lines.
  • When directed, may assist and manage assigned requisition load.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or other relevant field or 2+ years of human resources, recruiting, or sourcing experience.
  • Certification: N/A
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of experience – focused on candidate sourcing and generation.
  • Unique or Preferred Skills:
  • Proven knowledge and experience with advanced internet sourcing techniques including Boolean key search strings. 
  • A clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple organizations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of applicants
  • Effective presentation skills
