As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Services Southport.

Things that work for us:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification is essential

  • Experience in an aged care environment

  • Personal care provision that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation

  • Experience providing services and activities centred around client needs including grooming, showering, mobility, meals, toileting, social activities

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

  • Ability to follow directives as per care plan

  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities

  • Vaccinated (and maintain up-to-date vaccinations) against Influenza and Covid-19

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
