Pay Range

$51.05 - $76.60

Atrium Health’s Musculoskeletal Institute (MSKI) is one of the largest Musculoskeletal programs in the country. We maintain an extensive network of physicians across the institute spanning spine, orthopedics, primary care sports medicine, physical medicine, and rehabilitation.

This APP will support a Sports Medicine surgeon within the Charlotte market and function as an integrated member of the Orthopedic Surgical care team, independently evaluating and managing patients, performing procedures within scope, and collaborating with the supervising physician across clinic and hospital settings, including shared call coverage.

• Full-time opportunity
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Clinical and surgical support for Sports Medicine surgeon
• Support clinic workflow, patient management, and care coordination
• Participate in hospital and practice call responsibilities
• After-hours and weekend call required per market rotation schedule
• Evaluate and manage orthopedic conditions and injuries
• Perform procedures within scope including splinting, bracing, casting, injections/aspirations, and wound care
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and collaborate on treatment planning

Qualifications
• Licensed or eligible to practice as one of the following:
• Physician Assistant in South Carolina
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Adult-Gerontology ACNP or equivalent acute care certification required)
• Graduate from an accredited PA or Acute Care NP program
• National board certification required
• DEA license required or eligible
• Eligible for prescriptive authority through appropriate SC governing board
• BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA required with expiration greater than 90 days from start date
