Team/Role Overview

The role will part of the European Fund Accounting team reporting directly into the European head of fund accounting and administration, working closely with a peer group of predominantly director level product managers.  The role will comprise a mix of local, regional and global initiatives working with other product team members. Approximately 20% of time will be spent developing solutions in the crypto and digital assets globally while local and regional projects will focus on traditional funds and asset classes.   The successful candidate will have the opportunity to design end to end asset servicing solutions for crypto and digital assets and this will therefore be a high profile role within the team.

What you’ll do

• Manage the strategic program roadmap, program development, launch, and marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product
• Leverage internal partners (CIOs, Innovation Lab, Citi Research, and other partners) and define new products/solutions
• Leverage subject matter expertise on innovation or groundbreaking product development
• Promote innovation including working with external partners/alliances to maintain/improve product status
• Direct creation and negotiation of client agreements, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and/or vendor contracts
• Utilize familiarity with field concepts, practices, and procedures in relation to data science, big data, artificial intelligence, and predictive analytics
• Formulate strategy around resource allocation between traditional research, analytic solutions, and data focused solutions
• Work with Operations and Technology with regards to process design and vendor procurement as well as communicate business plans on marketplace approach
• Direct and oversee all aspects of program life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and competitive field
• Participate in budgeting and planning for strategic priorities and initiatives
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we’ll need from you

• Long proven relevant experience in finance organization or consulting in Fund Accounting
• Understanding of emerging products and required capabilities including digital assets, crypto currencies, and tokenization
• Experience using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools within your daily work as well as applicability to product enhancements/expanded capabilities
• Experience managing across multi-function, global business
• Experience leading cross-functional team to define and achieve high value business goals
• Experience in statistical modeling or similar techniques
• Broad and diverse functional experience (e.g. marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, analytics)
• Demonstrated experience driving business innovation, leveraging management information, and data analytics to drive results
• Experience in scenario development and forecasting as well as experience serving a range of clients
• Demonstrated knowledge of product development, financial acumen, and investment processes across asset classes
• Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated analytical and influencing skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
