Your impact

As a vital member of the Relationship Management team, you'll conduct research and analysis, assessing our client's financial performance and industry insights. You will also perform financial modelling and assess risks and opportunities for new lending and credit increases. 

Do work that matters

  • As an Analyst, you will manage complex Commercial Property and/or Diversified transactions within the Commercial Banking team, handling a variety of responsibilities that extend beyond the basics.

  • Write, negotiate and manage credit applications for new and existing clients, undertaking due diligence, financial modelling and risk analysis

  • Manage the portfolio's data quality, compliance and daily reporting requirements 

  • Undertake detailed analysis of client and industry-specific information focusing on the key financial drivers of each client in order to effectively meet their needs

  • Identify, research and compile information on new to-bank prospects

  • Complete credit submissions and annual reviews to ensure the timely delivery of decisions, documentation and funding to the client and ensure the accuracy of information on source systems

  • Prepare pitch packs, and discussion papers for new and existing clients

  • Proactively manage the portfolio pipeline and financial reporting

  • Support the Relationship Executive in understanding client needs, linking this insight to the client relationship strategy through research, analysis of market data, and knowledge of our product offerings.

We anticipate you can demonstrate experience or an understanding of the following:

  • Passion for financial analysis skills, including balance sheet and P&L interpretation and/or understanding of property transactions and cash flow modelling.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and critical stakeholders, e.g. credit department, Group Lending Services etc.

  • Critical Thinking and Ability to quickly grasp complex transactions

  • A tertiary qualification
