Job Description:

Infusion Center District Manager

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Southern California)

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, Full Time

The District Manager (RN) is responsible for overseeing and management of the district’s infusion facilities within assigned geographical area, quality and safety of patient care, flow and process of the infusion suites in addition to providing services to patients under the scope of practice

How you will make an impact:

Primary duties include but not limited to:

  • Delegates duties and patient care to applicable staff within each facility as necessary.
  • Facilitates the relationship between the staff and the organization; acts as the point of contact between the staff and the organization.
  • Oversee the operations of multiple centers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as INS standards of practice, OSHA guidelines, State Nurse Practice Act and state board laws/guidelines.
  • Trains and oversees center leadership.
  • Facilitates communication between senior leadership and center directors.
  • Travels frequently to infusion clinics in district as necessary to ensure Paragon culture and Policies and Procedures are being followed.  
  • Address staff’s clinical concerns to facilitate safe and appropriate patient care.
  • Oversees and assists center directors with staffing schedule.
  • Assists in the implementation of specific plans of action for special projects.
  • Assures that federal, state and/or location Infusion Therapy Program standards of care and clinical practice are maintained through new hire orientation and annual competency assessments as well as monitoring daily care provided by clinic staff.
  • Assist in effective communication between the patient and organization to include documentation of suggestions, complaints and requests.
  • Understands and adheres to all applicable state, local and Federal laws and / or regulations including maintaining patient confidentiality through abiding by HIPAA laws/regulations.  
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
  • May require travel to worksite and other locations as necessary.  

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires an associates degree in Nursing and minimum of 3 years of related experience which includes a minimum of 2 years prior management experience and; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Requires an current, active and valid unrestricted RN license license in applicable state(s) or territory of the United States.
  • For Paragon and Carelon Health business unit, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • BSN preferred
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Experience with IV's preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $113,160.00 - $141,450.00/year
