Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As an Insolvency Associate you will work with Department managers within RCM to manage daily workflow activities within Recoveries and the Insolvency teams. You will review daily reports, complete Risk Reports and be the referral point for Insolvency Officers and third party vendor(s). You will apply analytical and problem solving skills in conjunction with delegated authorities (DA)’s to negotiate solutions for delinquent, Insolvent and written off or at risk credit products, while mitigating the bank’s financial and reputations risk. You will share your knowledge and balance your work with quality and quantity. 

What will you do?

  • Focus on enhancing personal and team productivity and quality measures in attainment of established Client Service Commitments (CSC’s) and/or Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) 
  • Utilize deep knowledge and experience of diverse RBC products, processes and services and supporting systems/applications required to transfer knowledge to employees through for processes, complex and/or specialized transactions and/or investigations 
  • Exercise due diligence in following RBC operational risk policies, procedures, standards and guidelines 
  • Use language, behaviors and actions to support a positive and productive work environment on a consistent daily basis 
  • Use a collaborative approach in dealing with clients, colleagues and service partners 
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team by sharing ideas, best practices and values, and build on ideas presented by others 

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 3+ years of recovery and Insolvency related experience 
  • Strong knowledge of RBC products, processes and services 
  • Proficient in using Collection Highway and Bankruptcy Highway systems 
  • Demonstrated passion for performance, productivity and a superior client experience 
  • Strong aptitude for organizing and prioritizing effectively 
  • Professional oral and written communication skills, and ability to interact with internal and external service partners and Vendors 
  • Ability to grasp complex concepts, regulatory and compliance knowledge as it relates to Collections & Insolvency 
  • Able to work various shifts within the business hours of 8am-6pm Monday to Friday
