Job Summary:

Collaboration with Global Machine Pricing business partners to create visuals in Power BI, SQL and new tools. Handle ad hoc reporting, training/support on the tools you built, and provide consultation for advanced analytics.

What You will Do:

  • Handle the complete development of new dashboards, including concept design, backend development, data validation, fronted visualization, and publication with proper security credentials.

  • Work with various business partners to understand data needs and devise appropriate solution whether that is a dashboard, a one-time report, an automated report, or alternate solutions.

  • Collaborate with the team to solve challenging problems and independently manage projects to meet expectations and deadlines from partners

  • Maintain effective internal communications across business partners

What You Will Have:

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Business Data Analysis: Knowledge of business data analysis; ability to collect, identify, analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.

  • Business Assessment: Knowledge of the activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities; ability to assess the benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.

  • Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

  • Technical Writing/Documentation: Knowledge of technical writing; ability to write technical documents such as manuals, reports, guidelines or documents on standards, processes and applications.

  • Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.

  • Research Analysis: Knowledge of the concepts, methodologies and methods of research analysis; ability to locate, interpret and evaluate research findings compiled and documented by others.

Considerations For Top Candidates:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, data science, analytics or a related field of study

  • Professional business intelligence or data visualization experience

  • To create visualization and process automation tools using Power BI, SQL, and other data methodologies

  • Highly proficient in SQL, Snowflake, and working with transactional data base

  • Working with data and transforming data

  • Accuracy and attention to detail skills used in reviewing logic between multiple sources to recognize anomalies and recommend corrective action

  • Demonstrate strong initiative, interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively.

  • 2 or more years of professional level experience

  • Business data analysis skills to analyze data sets to identify insights and communicate findings to business partners

  • Experience doing data science and business intelligence using Python

  • Proven track record of building cross-functional relationships with diversified departments

  • Experience in Digital, Aftermarket, Machines or Commercial related positions
