The Sr. Recruiter -Talent Advisor, operates as a strategic full cycle recruiter who partners closely with business leaders to provide talent consultative solutions tailored to support the execution of strategic priorities for different business units that support Nissan Mexico.

Job Functions

  • Develops and builds strong relationships with Hiring Managers, HRBP’s, and business stakeholders.
  • Presents data-driven talent insights to Sr. Managers, Directors, and VPs as well as other key stakeholders.
  • Manages day-to-day staffing process for internal and external direct hire recruitment within Mexico
  • Creates and executes strategic sourcing methods for G&A and technical recruiting capabilities.
  • Coaches hiring teams, business leaders and HR COE teams on recruiting best practices, staffing processes, policies, interviewing processes, and expectations.
  • Collects, analyzes, and prepares presentations on talent insights including candidate market, pipeline effectiveness and action plans.
  • Supports development, mentors, and models a high-performing talent advisor.
  • Guides and assist business leaders on hiring process, policies, and procedures.
  • Continuously refines and becomes a change agent for processes to be more efficient and beneficial to the team and stakeholders.
  • Incorporates external data benchmarking and best practices to ensure function stays on par with market dynamics.
  • Supports and ensures achievement of functional KPIs and strategic annual objectives.
  • Leverages and analyzes data to identify themes, make recommendations, set expectations, and drive process efficiency both from the candidate and business leader side.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert around candidate sourcing methodologies and recruitment process effectiveness.
  • Leads and mentor’s junior recruiters on best practices, recruiting strategies, business objectives and foundational support that may come up day to day.

Minimum Qualifications

The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.

  • 7 plus years of direct recruiting experience required.
  • Experience recruiting for Technology and Specialized profiles. (Data science, cibersecurity, etc.)
  • Degree or related equivalent experience required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Advance knowledge in recruiting processes, to include sourcing, candidate selection and evaluation, interviewing, pre-employment screening, and on-boarding.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and talent acquisition technology required.
  • Strong organizational skills and project management skills, as well as ability to manage time effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with adaption to audience and ability to facilitate executive interactions.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolutions skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects with a virtual team (clients and team members).
  • Ability to perform data analysis including data metrics affecting utilization.
  • Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Occasional day or overnight travel required.
